A collector of Middle and Far East Asian Art and wife of a famous contemporary ink artist and master calligrapher, the client wished to combine Islamic patterning and ornament while preserving modern lines throughout the residence.

This synthesis was manifested in the abstraction of Islamic geometric principles into new contemporary patterns, translated into screen partitions providing physical separation while retaining visual connection between spaces.
