Gediminas Simkus started his education as Constructing Architect at VIA University, Denmark. There he got his foundations of building structure and design. Showing exemplary skills and personal growth he was chosen for various things during his education years. The most important were: BIM camp held at Royal School of Arts in Copenhagen, Denmark and first student from this university to be sent for internship to TopWay, Canadian leadership based Architectural Design and Urban Planning Company in Shanghai, China. After successful internship he went to Victoria University, Australia, were he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree of Architectural Technology and Construction Management.
From 2013 to 2015, Gediminas worked for HAL International Architects and later on for ZIP Architects, both based in Shanghai, China. He was involved in various different projects, such as; low rise office and commercial buildings, high rise office towers, mixed use buildings, high end resorts and villas. He has high interest in Building Information Modeling (BIM) usage for achieving higher quality design for modern architecture
From 2015 he has joined OLI Architecture. Here he has been involved in various high quality projects.
